Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate Atom Trade:

• Account data: Email address and name provided at sign-up via OAuth (Google).
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session timestamps — collected anonymously for performance monitoring.
• Watchlist & portfolio data: Symbols, quantities, and prices you add to the terminal.
• Broker credentials: API keys you provide for broker integrations are stored encrypted and are never logged in plain text.
• Log data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) retained for 30 days for security purposes.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Atom Trade service.
• To authenticate your session and protect your account.
• To pass market data queries and (where connected) order requests to your chosen broker.
• To generate AI-powered market insights via Groq AI (see Third Parties below).
• To respond to support requests and communicate service updates.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Atom Trade integrates with the following third-party services:

• Broker APIs (Zerodha Kite, Upstox, AngelOne, etc.): When you connect a broker, your orders and account queries are transmitted to that broker's servers under their own privacy policy. We act only as a technology intermediary.
• Groq AI: Natural-language market insights are processed via Groq's inference API. Queries may contain stock symbols and contextual market data but do not include your personal identifiable information.
• Google OAuth: Used solely for authentication. We receive only your name and email from Google.
• NSE / BSE Data Feeds: Real-time and delayed market data is fetched from exchange-licensed data providers. No personal data is shared with these providers.

• Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Watchlist and portfolio data is retained until you delete it or request account deletion.
• Server logs are purged after 30 days.
• Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

You have the following rights with respect to your data:

• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to Correction: You may update your account information at any time from the Settings screen.
• Right to Deletion: You may submit an account deletion request from the Settings screen. All personal data will be permanently erased within 30 days of a verified request.
• Right to Portability: You may export your watchlist and portfolio data in JSON format from the terminal.
• Right to Object: You may disable telemetry and analytics collection at any time from the Settings screen.

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, and regular security reviews. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
